Calculator Skills

We didn't have calculators when I was in elementary school, but these days they're an unavoidable skill required in the early grades. Knowing how to make a basic four-function calculator do tricks comes right after knowing how to do the same tricks the long way, with pencil and paper. We created these worksheets to provide core practice with these skills.

One thing to be aware of is that not all four-function calculators are alike. Certain functionality, such as the constant feature, is implemented differently on a few models. Always check first to be sure that the model of calculator you are having your students use support the features properly so that they can complete the exercises.

Public Beta Preview

This website is currently in the late stages of its development, a state referred to as beta. As with all beta software, it has some quirks and many parts are not yet available. We are working hard to finalize the system's structure, and roughly once every two weeks we roll out new functionality towards this goal. Until then you may notice that some resources move or even disappear for a while.
