Calculating Area & PerimeterThis page shows a set of two-dimensional shapes that have their sides labeled, and the student's task is to compute the area and/or perimeter. For complex shapes, you can also choose to have all the sides labeled so that they do not have to do the subtraction to find out the unlabeled sides. The student must remember to write the units for their answer! However, if you don't want to burden them with that task, you can just stick with numeric values. |
