Tetrahedron

Develop cognitive and geometric abilities through paper model building

A tetrahedron is a Platonic solid comprised of four triangle faces, four vertices and six edges. In this model the tetrahedron is regular, meaning that all of the faces are identical equilateral triangles. It is a relatively easy model to construct and provides a good challenge for beginners.

Tab and fold lines are available on the model but can be hidden if you do not want them. The outline is always present, but can be minimized to a very thin, light line so that it does not show up on the physical model. A small preview of the model also appears on the sheet, but you may want to hide this if you think it gives away too much to the student.
