Nearly 3,400 years ago, a nine-year-old child named Tutankhamun became the supreme ruler of Ancient Egypt. Little is known about his parents, why he became king, or how he died just a few years later. He was a weak leader and quickly forgotten. But due to a quirk of history, he is the most famous Egyptian pharaoh today.
